Posting Policy
Before posting comments or trackbacks, read the following:
- Comments are behind JavaScript popup links and not visible to search engines and spiders, so attempts to spam are futile.
- Email address is not required for posting comments. I realize the danger of posting an email address online, and have taken the precaution of putting the comment page behind a JavaScript popup. Your email address will not be visible to spiders.
- Comments posted should relate to the topic of the blog post. Questions, concerns, and other reasons for making contact can be done through the site contact form. Comments not relating to the post will be deleted.
- Inappropriate comments will be deleted at the discretion of the site owner.
- Deliberate attempts at comment spam will be deleted and reported to Google, Yahoo, and other search engines as fraud, and site links that are determined to be deliberate spam will be used in any way this site sees fit, such as showing on the Spammer Hall Of Fame page.
- Trackbacks are only allowed if they link back to the blog post. The blog programmatically determines if your trackback is legitimate, and programmatically looks up your domain in WHOIS if it is not legitimate.
- Trackbacks determined to be spam will also be reported to Google, Yahoo, and other search engines as fraud, and site links that are determined to be deliberate spam will be used in any way this site sees fit, such as showing on the Spammer Hall Of Fame page.
- Trackback spam will be charged to the site owner of the spam link $1.00 per link submitted.
